For those interested in connecting to local church and para-church ministries to help reach their neighborhoods for Christ.
Neighbhorhood Canvassing -
Teams of students and local church folk regularly canvas neighbhorhoods in Polk Co. to do Family Needs Assessments Survey and followup with provision for those needs. A Religious Attitude Questionnaire is also used to determine respondents openness to a gospel witness. Contact Dr. Brian Kelly at bmkelly@seu.edu to get a schedule of upcoming events, usually held on the third Saturday of the month throughout the semester. Training begins at noon and we are done by 4:00 PM.
Marketplace Outreach -
Our evangelism teams are on the streets and malls of the city to share the good news through the use of a Religious Attitude Questionnaire and Our Spiritual Journey Together pamphlets to share the good news with those who are interested. Contact Dr. Brian Kelly at bmkelly@seu.edu to get a schedule of upcoming outreaches. These are usually held on the First Friday of every month throughout the semester. Training begins at 6:00 PM on campus and we are done by 10:00 PM.

Outreach to Homeless -
Students are connecting with those in need in the Lakeland area. Feeding the homeless regularly on Friday night and helping with a discipleship ministry in a transitional residential fellowship are two ways you can connect.
